Отпечаток было сделано в небе над Тихим океаном. Журнал «National Geographic» опубликовал его возьми своей странице в Instagram.
«Когда началось полное затемнение, в этой очень тонкой атмосфере небо стало черным-черным, примерно как в космосе. Эти 2 минуты прошли, как секунда», – говорится в описании к фотокарточка.
В «National Geographic» добавили, что выбрали этот карточка одной из лучших фотографий, сделанных в 2017 году.

Photos by @babaktafreshi, slideshow of 6 One of the most exciting 2017 projects was imaging my 13th solar eclipse in August, this time for @natgeo, flying on a small jet from Central Oregon to 45000 ft high in the Stratosphere above the Pacific. As the total eclipse began in this very thin atmosphere the sky became pitch black, almost like being in space. That 2 minutes passed like a second, an amazing moment for the crew. A few minutes before the moon shadow reached the mainland US, this photo (slide 1) became the first view to the totality across the entire web and probably the most viewed. @natgeo editors selected it as one of most moving photos of 2017 (see the gallery on natgeo.com).
